FROM SPRING TO FALL, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
I have a long distance relationship going on with Yosemite Valley. I leave, it remains in my heart, and I just keep going back for more. This year it’s been one of my goals to witness all the seasons of Yosemite, winter is coming up next.
I remember seeing pictures of guys hanging off of giant slabs of granite, and the sun setting and rising on El Cap, I just knew I had to go. My first trip was in August 2014, and I have kept going back since. I’m not even sure what I am doing there sometimes. In an area for extreme outdoor enthusiasts, I’ve found myself laying by a lake or in a meadow just listening to the birds.
At times I find it hard to find the words to do this place justice, so pictures will do for now. But there is no feeling like stepping onto this ground.
From rock climbing to swimming, Yosemite offers it all. If you’re a climber you have no other choice but to visit this place, if you’re a photographer who keeps both feet on land, the feeling is mutual.
