Everything I do has to somehow allow me the freedom to take off, for hours or days, and disconnect from “the world” to reconnect with The World. When I’m not planning the next backcountry adventure with my Roberto, I’m probably booked on a volunteer assignment in Joshua Tree, or prepping for a hike or trip with friends + Stranded On Land. Our public lands are my strongest connection to this country so I do everything in my power to enjoy and protect them.
Besides loving a good old hike and backcountry trip, lately, I’m really into photography, learning video, fly fishing + being positive. Some outdoor activities I’m looking forward to picking back up soon are climbing + cycling, even though they both terrify me.
This by no means sums it all up, but you get a picture.
Let’s get outside the grind!
