In Southern California? Join us on Sunday for a Clean up, Planting Station + the Plastic Swear Jar Kickoff with Bloc. See the full details + RSVP below.

RULES |

A SWEAR = Each time you purchase or use an item of single-use plastic.

ONE

Designate a container in your home or workplace as your #PLASTICSWEARJAR + decorate it so that it’s obvious what its for.

TWO

Keep track of all of your “swears” each day. You can do this on your phone, in a notebook or on your phone or by literally adding a a dollar in the jar.

THREE

For each “swear”, place $1into the jar. (Can’t do a whole dollar? No problem, commit to whatever feels fair.) Be honest. This won’t work unless we hold ourselves accountable.

FOUR

Let Changing Tides Foundation know you’re participating by sharing a photo or ‘I Swear’ video with your challenge on instagram + tag @changingtidesfoundation #PlasticSwearJar #ISwearToBeAware for your chance to be featured and win a GoPro Hero 6 + some other awesome prizes.

FIVE

At the end of the 7 days, you have the option to donate the funds to Changing Tides Foundation through their #PlasticSwearJar Fundraiser Page.
Your donations will be used to benefit environmental initiatives.
